Can I get a spray tan while pregnant?

Yes! Pegnant women can get a spray tan while pregnant. We highly encourage wearing a bathing suit or protective bottoms. Afterglow provides disposable tops and bottoms if preffered.

Can I get a spray tan while breastfeeding?

Yes! Breastfeeding mothers can get a spray tan, it is mandatory to cover breast area with a bikini top or cover!

When should I get a tan for my event or vacation?

Everyone has their own preference as to when they get their spray tan for their event or vacation. As a general guide, 2 days before an event and 1-2 days before a vacation!

What kind of tan should I get for my wedding?

We highly recommend getting a “test” spray prior to your bridal spray tan. This way, we can adjust formulas if needed. We typically use bronzer free formulas to avoid transferring to your dress!

Will a spray tan protect me from the sun?

NO! A spray tan does not protect the skin from the sun. It acts like a “dye” not melanin or spf. Always swear sunscreen outdoors and use spray tan safe formulas that can be purchased at Afterglow!

What kind of clothing should I wear to my appointment?

You should come wearing loose, long clothing. Avoid pants with a tight waist band, leggings, bras/sports bras, socks, tight shoes. Tight clothing can rub off the tan in certain areas and create blotchy tan.
